A Day's Getaway is a staycation property with nightly/weekly rental for our 18ft travel trailer and 10 seasonal RV/travel trailers lots. We will provide an authentic , off-grid camping experience with a little bit of comforts of home to families, singles, couples and individuals of any age.
Tina Day, is Owner/Operator of the Business. Location of A Day's Getaway is, South of Straight Shore Brook, which is between Musgrave Harbour, and Deadman's Bay, NL.
The town of Lumsden is 24.5 km from the property.
Memories are golden!
My favorite memories of my childhood is the camping trips with my folks, exploring the beaches and the smell of the campfire smoke. Now that I am a mom , I truly created the same memories for my Boys on this exact piece of property that I wat to share with you.

From May 24th to Nov 2nd, "Winter storage is not permitted" Removal of RV/ Trailers at end of Season is required.

All 10 Seasonal sites will have direct septic hook-ups!

Swimming & Hiking Trail
beach area, unsupervised, "use at own risk", "recommend children , be supervised by an adult". Hiking trail is easy on foot used by locals to gain access to other beaches and salmon rivers.
